Ingredients: enough to fill 8 pint sized Mason Jars (16oz) or one large pitcher (almost a gallon)

  • Peach Syrup:
    • 1 Cup of Sugar (best quality sugar you can find)
    • 1 Cup of water (clean and pure)
    • 2-3 Peaches (White Flesh variety is ideal)
  • Tea Blend:
    • 3 grams Green Tea Matcha or 3 green tea bags (matcha is ideal but tea bags work too) Our Saffron Tea Matcha™ 6 brew pouch is perfectly sized for both saffron and green tea
    • Optional: 2 Black Tea bags
    • ½ to ¾ gram of Saffron whole threads or crushed
    • 6 cups of water
    • Optional: mint leaves or pea shoots for garnish
  • Directions:
    1. Bring water to a boil, then reduce heat to medium
    2. While you’re waiting for water to boil, cut peaches into small chunks
    3. Stir, add sugar to water until fully dissolved
    4. Add tea, saffron, and half of your peach chunks to your water syrup, you’ll be saving the other half for the end. Keep stirring, if you’re using tea bags add them in the next step
    5. While stirring, turn off burner, cover, and let set for ~30 minutes (while still on the warm burner you just shut off)
      • After ~30 minutes, remove tea bags if you used them, throw them away
    6. Distribute syrup tea blend evenly to each of your Mason Jars or simply add entirety to one large pitcher. If you’re distributing into Mason Jars, you’ll need to try to apply an even number of peach chunks (and possibly whole saffron threads) to each jar
    7. Fill pitcher or Mason Jars with water to reach capacity, blend by stirring
    8. Add the rest of your peach chunks and optional mint (or pea shoots), refrigerate until chilled. Serve and enjoy, cheers!
